DigInfo - www.diginfo.tv During the Tokyo Auto Salon 2009 show held at the Makuhari Messe convention center, Yokomo, a manufacturer of radio control cars that specializes in drift racing kits, exhibited kits from each of the Yokomo Drift Package series including a 1 size kit and a 1/16th kit that has become popular with the Ichiroku M drift car. To its lineup, Yokomo has now added electric powered RC model cars that offer impressive realistic drifting performance like that of full-size drift racers. The new kits in the Yokomo Drift Package series were developed based on a concept of easy and readily enjoyable realistic drift racing like that of an actual D1 race car driver. Yokomo offers an abundant variety of parts so that drift racing enthusiasts can enjoy their own original, custom made RC drift racer that is the only one its kind worldwide. Meetings held by Yokomo fans continue to increase year after year, and competitive RC drift racing events are spreading nationwide.
