4th Flight of the V912 in my back yard. Although it's a larger model it's able to fly in a smaller area. I have a large back yard but you could fly the model in the street or a car park for steady flights no problem or just to get it trimmed up. I Notice that although it's fully trimmed as far it still banks to the right so I have to compensate with a bit of stick. It also likes to turn/spin (rudder) quicker to the left than right, maybe related to the slight banking issue ? It's flying with the skid removed due to the TX switching to mode 2 during flight & hitting the ground. (repaired now with epoxy) As long as you still bind it 1st level (gyro) it can take off from hand just fine.
