After briefly seeing pictures of it, and liking what I saw, I was happy to open the box and find a truck with working LED lights and a well-made body with scale accessories and by far the largest 1/10th scale truck body I have had (in my opinion the body and wheel base feels more like a 1/9th scale or 1/8th scale) ...

... but I was also surprised to discover that it is a non-proportional RC Car with a dual 280 type brushed motor-on-axle set-up with a loud 'servo'-noise. Overall it reminds me of both the early WPL Scale Trucks and a non-hobby-grade off road RC car ... just slightly over-sized ...

Well, with the non-proportional throttle and steering it will never do any real trail runs or crawling but since it is rated for ages above 14 year and comes with a spare part list, we will give it an off-road-test-run anyway and see what it's up to !

Due to the addition of a new family member, my editing-time this summer is limited. That is why I am dividing the unboxing and the test run. Right now I am just making my way through the footage one step at the time. Be sure to check out the upcoming test run to get a full idea of this model.

I still have trouble rendering my 4K 60 fps in Adobe Premiere Elements. Sorry for the 'non-smoothness' ... will switch back to 1080 HD for a while in future videos while I try to fix it ...
