What's In It Wednesday, where we take a random everyday object (in this case, a toy car) and produce a radiograph to see what's inside. But this time we have a full tomography.

Radiographs are 2D images produced by the XCT machine. In the radiograph, we can see the interior structure of the object as the X-rays pass through and interact with various materials. Tomographs are 3D volume reconstructions assembled by a computer by gathering thousands of radiographs are various angles.

The small RC EV is a dual motor and shows some fun complexity.
It's always fun to see everyday objects in a new way.
