This video compares REAL RC car performance with VRC car performance, and it is truly stunning how much similarity there actually is between the two! In the upper left corner you see the real RC car and the big screen displays a VRC car. Of course, both show the same car class and track (which by the way is the MACH track located in the Netherlands). Enjoy it! You can go to www.virtualrc.com to try VRC yourself for FREE, but make sure you have some sort of controller or joystick to control the game, otherwise you'll have a hard time enjoying it to the fullest!
