Today we have Jason (JP), showing a full build of the new Traxxas Mini Maxx with the oil filled Diffs and a slipper clutch. The diffs used were the XL-5 diffs from the Slash / Old Stampede 4x4 / Rustler 4x4 and Rally 4x4 XL5 models. Parts Used -
XL-5 Diff Build
- TRA6779 - Rear Ring and Pinion - x2
- TRA5381 Diff Cup or TRA3978 X01 HD Diff Cup - x2
- TRA6882X - Inner spider gears 4x4 - x2

Slipper Clutch Build
- TRA6893 - Slipper Shaft 1/10 4x4
- TRA6893X - Aluminum centre bearing carrier w/ 10x15x4mm bearing
- TRA3954 - 38t Mod 1 Spur gear (Revo 2.5 / 3.3)
- TRA6888 - Input Shaft
- TRA5552X - Slipper Clutch Rebuild complete
- TRA5556 - Slipper clutch pressure plate & Hub
(You can also buy TRA6878 complete slipper clutch and just install TRA3954)
- RRP1216 - 16t Mod 1 5mm shaft pinion
- RRP1200 - 5mm to 1/8" shaft reducer
We used TRA6765 Rustler 4x4 centre shaft but you will have to cut down any of the 4x4 center shafts (TRA6855 - Slash 4x4 / Rally or TRA6755 - Stampede 4x4)
