The Groom who flew an RC Turbine Jet on his Wedding Day !
I had heard a rumour that this was going to happen. Normally Dave would fly at the regular Classic Jets event which happens every 3 months. But this Classic Jets was also his Wedding Day ! Did that prevent Dave from attending and flying? Hell no ! Dave Wilshere lent Dave his CARF Models Joker to prove that the best way for a Groom to prepare for his big day is to get a good hit of Jet A1 fuelled RC turbine action. Dave didn't disappoint, he flew the Joker turbine jet like it was his own...until the landing when he lightly grazed the wing tip on the runway. We'll forgive him that and wish him and Sylvia all the best for their married life together !
