Tesla Terafactory Texas Update #201 in 4K: Ramping Traffic Infrastructure 08/23/21 (5:30pm | 97°F)

Hey guys, it’s Randy! After another great weekend of updates, today’s footage shows efforts to ramp up many facets of the traffic infrastructure around the factory. We see instances of new traffic power poles, road and parking lot markings, and of course, more new roadways that have been built. As always, we have updates taking place on the actual building of significance as well, so let’s get right to it.

Here are today’s key takeaways:
-The north end shows the second space frame assembly looks to be completed and will most likely be painted next. Interestingly, we see a lot of materials and the assembly of additional space frames in the area of the bend in HGR leading to the east side of the large worker lot. Joe theorized that these may in fact be used for entry checkpoints around the site, which could be a possibility. Leave a comment letting us know what you guys think below!
-The GigaPress area shows that the last section of roof stretching to the north and start of the angled edges has had concrete poured.
-The Northeast corner shows new barriers put in place to line certain roadways or to block traffic from entering certain roads altogether.
-The BIW area’s east side shows the progress of the wall panel installation and we can also see new work has been happening on the ground, as we can see new trenches, one of which seems to be in the filling and compacting stages.
-The southern gap shows how close the big dig area extension is to reaching the far south end of the factory. The other end of it shows work still ongoing with the drilled shafts and more PVC pipe being laid on the ground outside of the pit along the western edge. We also see the area of the stamping building where the panels were removed having metal wall studs installed and the blue wall sheathing already fully installed on one of the bottom sections.
-The southwest corner near the bridge and new road area shows more curbs installed and lane markings on the section of road on the right. This same section now joins a new paved road going north that connects to the concrete road section, which also had the last formed section of concrete poured over the weekend that was directly over the drainage pipes.
-The GA west side shows sections of the parking lot we last saw in the process of being paved, completed and also marked with parking spaces. Just the area leading to the angled corner remains to be paved on this side. Next, the wall panel installation for what hopefully will be a silhouette of a Cybertruck has had only a couple more panels added to the front sloped glass area, but in the bottom corner, we see many smaller panels installed to make new loading bay openings. Moving north, we see sectioned off finished lots, first where the loading bays are, and then to the charging lots. I didn’t notice it at the time, but the covers have been removed to expose all of the Tesla Destination Chargers and all of the spaces are marked ‘EV CHARGING’!
-The BCP building roof still has ongoing work with the installation of the Evapco equipment and the north-facing side is having panels installed, some of which are angled pieces as well. We can also see a newly extended paved section in this northwest corner next to the road.
-The northern gap shows the progress of the structural steel along the eastern wall as it inches closer to the northern edge.
-The HGR intersection shows the 4 utility poles installed over the weekend and all 4 of them are joined by cables at the very tops of them making the shape of a square above the intersection and we can also see that there is an additional cable coming from each connecting to the concrete circular drum nearby, presumably as the concrete they are set in cures. We also see new lanes and traffic markings beneath the bridge as well in this area that were not there last week.
