Tesla Model Y - New Detailed Interior Photos, Delivery Photos and Updates

Tesla's Model Y has a lot of mystery surrounding it, including what exactly the interior looks like. Now we finally have some new photos of the Model Y interior, along with photos of Model Y's on delivery trucks ready to head out to customers.

First up. I shaved my head! But next, we have new photos of the Tesla Model Y interior. We can see a lot of similarities in the Model Y to the Model 3.

The Model Y seats are the same as the Model 3, just on risers. These photos confirm that the Model Y will include USB-C ports, along with the motor to control the back seats which power fold down.

These Tesla Model Y interior photos also confirm that the back seats definitely have three independently folding seats allowing you to fit a lot in the trunk and fit long objects through.

Additionally, we see two buttons in the back, along with a 12V power plug.

Then @mrleetesla on twitter got great photos of the Model Y interior. One, in particular, gave us an idea of how much the room the Model Y 3rd row seats will really have. Not much room, but for the 5 seaters, it will be a very expansive hatchback trunk.

Some word of mouth rumors says that the Model Y is noticeably wider than the Model 3 but about the same length. Additionally, the Model Y will noticeably sit higher than the Model 3.

Most of the colors we see at the factory appear to be the darker colors, but on delivery trucks, we've seen all colors headed to delivery centers.

We see a protective coating covering the Model Y chrome delete that looks like chrome in blurry photos, but they are just covering the chrome delete.

Overall, all deliveries we've seen confirmed for the Model Y are only the Long Range AWD Model Y with black interior and 20-inch wheels, of the Performance with either 19-inch wheels or 21-inch wheels.

Tesla Model Y buyers waiting on a confirmed March delivery got a follow-up text from tesla for the next steps on their delivery.
