First run in 2019 and GPS Speed Test with the best handling buggy in my collection, the Tamiya DB-02 Leonis 1/10 4WD Semi-Race Spec Buggy.
Here it is with the GoolRC bruhsless system, the new pinion gear, changed gear ratio and the new slipper-clutch. Still almost stock, but a lot has changed since the first speed test with the 119T pinion and the Tamiya Johnson Silver Can motor. Now it's ready for the new season! See below for more information, videos and links.

It could arguably be geared even higher, but this, I think, is the maximum gearing I will do, since I definitely can feel a little decline in acceleration and torque with the change from the 19T to the 23T pinion. So if I still want it to do great off road, this will have to do. If I ever want it to go faster a, 3S LiPo or an increase in kv could be an option instead. But I think it will be alright for now. Other Tamiya upgrade projects awaits!
