Tamiya Bargains for the Busy! RC Car Haul from Tamico

Christmas comes early! Busy time of the year, isn't it? If you, like me, don't expect to find the time to build a complete RC car in the Holidays, and are on a limited RC Budget, here is two cheap Tamiya RC Car bodies (pre-cut and pre-painted with all stickers applied) from Tamico to rejuvenate your TT-01E, TT-02 or DT-03 chassis ... and your RC Car Passion ... Even though we're busy, let's keep the flame burning!

Well, the time and weather for cutting, painting and building a Tamiya body is actually what I am missing. Simply impossible with three small kids, work and holiday preparations right now... So these two bargains might come in handy for some quick Tamiya Holiday Adventures.

A Tamiya DT-03 Racing Fighter XSA (Expert Semi-Assembled) 1/10 2WD Buggy RC Car for only €84 ($88). That's actually €10 less than the kit itself, and if you already got some batteries and a charger, you only need some RC equipment (a servo and a radio) to get it out running! This XSA comes with an ESC, motor, oil-filled shocks and a pre-cut and pre-painted body with all stickers applied. What you might need too though, is a set of ball bearings.

And then there's the pre-cut and pre-painted VW Scirocco R-Line XB body for the TT-01E and TT-02 chassis. Usually I prefer the bodies from Japanese car brands, but this one actually pleases my eyes too. What I especially like is that it also comes with clear smoked windows, instead of the traditional Tamiya XB window decals. It was only €52 ($55). Slap it on your TT-02 or TT-01E and you got a "brand new" car.

The rest of the Haul, a standard Tamiya motor, some paint and a cheap Carson re-branded Hobbywing ESC (actually 10$ cheaper than the Hobbywing 1060 itself!) is for some future "spring projects". Stay tuned.
