It was a very rainy week, roughly ten inches of rain in the Coral Springs area. The track crew came out Saturday morning and worked for over 3 hours to get the track ready for practice. Chris, Kevin and Pak did an amazing job but at 1:30 PM the sky opened up again. We got as much water off the track that we could and showed up the next morning. Chris was working on the track when Joe, Kevin, John and company did what they could to make the track read for Race 1. They did an outstanding job and we started only about a half hour late. There were 93 entries and it was a long day. Johnathan Hernandez started in the Six Spot but by the end of the First Lap he was in 1st Place and never looked back taking the Bump. BQ Matt Paulins was pushed down into 2nd Place, but like a seasoned race held on to 2nd Place and got the Second Bump.
