Film shows a majestic thermal flight in Wawayanda, NY by the rubber-powered 20" Fairchild 24, from the vintage 1935 Scientific Model Co. plan, part of their popular Hi-Flyer 20" series of models. Built by Tom Hallman. This model honors my dad, who built many from this series throughout the 1930s. The registration number on this model is my dad's birthday, 3.17.21.
