I was really excited to see this scale UH-1 Huey out at Bomberfield as I have a special place for the helicopter since my Dad used to fly Huey gunships in Vietnam. This model was built by Michael Roznick and was based on Align T-Rex 500ESP mechanics with a custom fuselage and scratch-built details. It was extremely cool to see fly and the scenery around the heli really just seemed to work for it. Additional info about the heli is below. #UH1Huey #ScaleHelicopter #TheRCGeek

Mechanics: Trex 500 ESP with Roban tail gearbox
Fuselage: PKM Hobby UH-1C with 3D printed grenade launcher and scratch built rocket launchers.
Paint scheme: Shark 157 of the 174th Helicopter Assault Company
Microhelis Scale Rotor head and custom modified 500mm blades
Flybarless unit: Ikon2
Servos: Align DS515ms for cyclic, MKS DS8910A+ for the tail
Power: 6S 4000mah, Castle Edge 100A ESC, Hyperion 1200kv motor
