Ritewing Drak (Super Drak) for sale.
This is a Pixhawk-based Drak using a 6S battery system. It has been flown and tuned (see the video for various flight modes including Auto/Waypoints), includes a reinforced cutout for a down-facing camera. Includes everything you see in the photos. I used it for some mapping work but have been focused on multi-rotors. I used a Seagull UAV trigger module to trigger a Samsung NX-500 and Canon SX-260. Worked great!
I will send you the Taranis OpenTx model that I am using with this aircraft.
Why "Super" Drak? - I built 6" wing extensions along with the CF tubes, to add more wing/lifting area. It worked, and it flies just as well with the normal wings as it does with the extensions. You get both in this package.
Bottom is covered with Kevlar cloth, very durable, Bungee hook is solid. This is what I always used to launch this bird, and I recommend you do the same if you put an expensive camera in it. In fact I recommend doing some bungee glide tests to get a feel for how to launch it (I am at 6000' +). Wing fins are reinforced along the bottom with hard rubber tube, heated and glued to the bottom of the coroplast. A very durable build.
Wings/body laminated
Pixhawk Lite, Mauch Power sensor/module,
Dual UBEC (Zener diode) for Pixhawk & servos,
separate UBEC for included 915 Mhz Telemetry radio, 5.8 Immersion VTX, Runcam Swift camera, airspeed sensor, 85 Amp ESC, strobes on top and wing tips
FrSky L9R receiver - included - all you need is your Taranis transmitter (or anything compatible with FrSky). You can even replace the receiver with your own.
Motor/Prop: Tiger AT3520 730kv - 6S - APC E 11x7
Wing servos: Hitec 645MG
