This has been an extremely long time coming, but finally I'm to the point to be able to start rolling out videos and articles on the Freewing F-14 Tomcat refinish! In this first episode, I talk through the refinish process the lays the foundation for transforming the model into a true warfighter. In addition, I talk through some of the assembly modifications and additions I added to the model including some landing gear reinforcement, reconfiguring and cleaning up the battery hatch, a moveable tailhook and more.
