http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B_QNNOZF2w8Updated Video 2nd flight - Clear VideoFirst Flight of my newly put together SF45 LearJet from Hobby Lobby. Built with retracts, and good thing as the gear down adds a lot of drag.
The Learjet takes off with very little runway considering its a ducted fan plane. Once in the air, she is very stable, and performs loops and rolls quite nicely! While she is quick, she's not so quick that she's hard to handle.
I was having so much fun that I didnt pay attention to the time I was in the air and actually got down to the wire on juice, so low in fact, that the rear retract didnt have enough power to push both landing gear down,so I had to retract and belly land her in the thankfully soft grass. Zero damage, and ready to fly again!
I love this plane! Georgeous in the air, on the ground, and in my hanger!!
New Camera-man....You're Fired. LOL. Just kidding, but you are going back to camera school!
