This is Red Zephyr's well worn 2 channel "Mills Bomb", a straightforward rudder/elevator controlled model aircraft. Built from plans, it was designed by David Boddington as a simple aircraft for beginners to learn how to build and fly.
It now has a "built up" wing, in exchange for the solid balsa wing as shown on the plan which eventually crumbled away due to wear and fuel soakage.
The RedFin 1.5 c.c. (.09) traditional style side port engine starts easily and provides adequate power. Fuel tank is a "hang tank" behind the engine of approximately 3/4 Fl. Oz. capacity.
Fuel composition - not known.
Propeller - Top Flite nylon 9x4.
