RC Helicopter Build - Roban EC130 Mechanics, Setup & Test Flight

In today's RC helicopter build of the Roban EC130 800 size fenestron scale RC helicopter, I'll be getting the mechanics put together, installing all the electronics, setting up the heli, and test flying the mechanics.

I always test fly scale RC helicopter mechanics outside the fuselage. I've been involved in this hobby for too many decades to trust unflown/untested mechanics in a costly scale fuselage.

Yes, it's unlikely there would be any issues considering the many collective pitch RC helicopters I've built over the past 33 years, but there is also lots that can go wrong.

I'm a flawed bald monkey after all, and with all the things that you have to get right during any large collective pitch RC helicopter helicopter build, just forgetting one little item could lead to a crash. Also, this is my very first RC helicopter build with a fenestron (fan) tail rotor - I really have no idea what to expect with it.

For the extra 15 minutes of time it took to mount these untested Roban HSM 800 mechanics on my "Flintstone Flyer", that to me is time very well spent over risking a $1500.00 fuselage.
