After weeks of learning the art of RC Drifting at our local track “Raceway Drift” in Northern Ireland, We found our car (MST FXX) to be ver slow and difficult to control, we both thought that this might be because of the motor configuration….. but we couldn’t have been more wrong!
The club cheater, Mark, said we should try new tyres and kindly let us try a set of DS Racing RWD FFF Zero Mk2 tyres!!! And WOW ???? what a transformation it made, the car had a ton of speed and just felt totally planted!! For the first time since owning the car it actually did what I wanted it to do.
Having gained this extra speed and control, I thought it only fitting to challenge the club expert (and also cheater) Mark and the rest of the guys to a (Drift Race) now, not the usual precision drift race, just an all out, get round the track as fast as you can kind of race!! Watch to see how we got on!!
