Some of recently bought yokomo/associated chasses were delivered and tested!
BD07 and TC6.1 gave me not exacly great impressions but I should test them with proper bodies and setup, course.
TC3.1 got issue with ESC (which was later kinda fixed?)
Sakura D5 RR got now brushed ESC and motor. It ran OK. The trouble on the video was already fixed.
TA03F setupt seems finally OK. It took surprisingly long to get this far. Increasing steering angle, swapping ESC and motors...
XRay T4F did not have traction at all so made major mod, basically putting heavier but ordinary shorty to get more weight on the front axis. No more crazy 1060g weight, but now slightly less than 1200g. The car accelerated faster but the tires were not fitting on the track. Need one more test with different tires. Weight, traction, handling and performance are closely related but not as simple as I ever thought. Interesting.

Japanese engineering guy currently working on vehicle dynamics, electrification in Germany.
After 10 years of hiatas, I started to enjoy RC cars again!
I basically drive all categories, as seen on the following list;)
My hobbies are car, RC, driving, travel, drawing, videogame, language learning, science, mahjong, etc...
My Currently Drivable RC Cars : 99 in total as of 20241027
