It was a pretty tough week with a lot of rain. Hence the rainy season in South Florida. With a lot of help from Matt we were able to get the track in good condition and prepared for the Race. There was some rain during the night and we had that sandy layer right at the top of the clay. It didn't hurt most classes but the 2 WD Stock were slipping and a sliding. The second the the last race of the day was the 4WD Mod Buggy Class. Loren Kretzschmar TQed but slipped down into the number two spot for the first three laps but by the forth he got his groove on and took the win, however he came real close to losing on the last lap. Check out the finish. Rick Jacobs started in the the third position but jumped into second after the 7th lap and took the lead with a half lap left but on that final triple...go take a look. Chris Mahfood began in the second position and took the lead for the first three laps but after that he fell back into a 3rd place finish.
