A top secret project in the 1940s, the German Messerschmitt Me 163 Komet is the first and only rocket-powered aircraft in history and the first piloted aircraft of any type to exceed 1,000 km/h in level flight. This RC version of the Me 163 in indoor flight I was able to film during "Faszination Modellbau" in Friedrichshafen (Germany), one of the largest trade fairs worldwide dedicated to model building.
