I picked up this little Tekno EB410.2 from Facebook Marketplace as a ready to run, pre built model. It saved me a few pounds but wasn’t without its issues… in my previous video you will have seen me give it a shakedown at Modeltune’s indoor track, where I discovered a few issues which I thought were due to a cheap knock off receiver and dodgy steering servo.. well, changing the servo and a set of tyres sorted out the steering, but the issue with the throttle sticking on still remains!
Anyway, both myself and Lee Coggan from Coggan Billet (awesome RC Machinist, if there’s a one off item you need made for a project, hit him up, he’s your man that can) headed South from Northern Ireland to Southern Ireland to a place called Naul, not far from Dublin, and home of Dublin Model Car Club. To take part in the second round of their winter championship. The club have only recently had to rebuild their track and lay down new carpet along with having new jumps made (some of which have yet to be built and placed) due to a fire in the neighbouring building all but destroying everything… the guys have made a fantastic effort and have done a phenomenal job to get things up and running again, enjoy the footage of todays event and stay tuned to my channel as I plan to return in the not so distant future, when I have been promised that there will be more air catching ramps installed to make things a little more exciting for viewers and a little more difficult for us drivers! Enjoy folks!!!
