If you love scale RC helicoters but you think you can't afford one you might be surpised. Microheli offers a beautiful EC 145 scale fuselage for the affordable OMPHOBBY M2 colletive pitch helicopter. This little scale heli flies as great as the stock M2, no matter if it's a M2 EVO or a M2 V2. The fuselage adds 100 gramm to this machine, no real problem because the M2 is very powerful and capable. And the machanics of this little machine are very durable. I have on every of my four M2 helis of all generations more than 1000 flights and I never experienced any technical problems. I inspect them after every flight session and replace a few very cheap wear parts on the M2 V2: main pitch control arms if they show play at the swashplate, and thats all. Tons of fun and joy while flying them for a relatively small amount of money. But beginners should start with the more crash resistant stock versions of the M2. With a scale model even a hard landing can have expensive consequeces. Not to mention a hard crash - the scale fuselage will be in pieces when after a similar crash with the stock model mayb only a servo arm might be broken. I began scale flying after one year of flying... and it gives me a lot of fun! Go for it whenever you are ready! You will not regret it!
