The amazing MiG-29 built and flown by Vitaly Robertus, the three-time jet RC world champion.
Scale 1:4,75 (20 kg class), equipped with two jet engines.
Jet Team Russia - ASC Rusjet.
Radio-controlled jets, built to exact scale after manned originals, are one of the most interesting disciplines in aeromodelling. Whatever these technically sophisticated model airplanes take to the air, attention is guaranteed. Watching the model airplanes fly demanding jet-typical maneuverers is a special treat for the old and young - not only for aviation enthusiast!
From 13th to 19th August 2017 the best pilots and builders of scale jet aircrafts from all over the world will meet each other at the Jämi Airfield, Jämijärvi, Finland. Presenting and flying their scale jet models of famous trainers and fighters they compete at the highest competition which to be held every two years, the international Jet World Masters.
Suihkumoottorilennokeiden MM-kilpailut - Jet World Masters järjestetään kahden vuoden välein. Itse kilpailu koostuu kahdesta eri osa-alueesta.
The original plane:
The "Swifts" (Strizhi) are another Russian Air Force aerobatic display team, flying MiG-29A and MiG-29UB fighters. The team also routinely uses just four aircraft for demonstrations, but also flies with fewer numbers and / or larger numbers by combining formations with the "Russian Knights".
The team's aircraft are painted in an overall white, red and blue color scheme and do not employ smoke generators.
All team members are drawn from the 237th Guards Proskurov Aircraft Demonstration Centre based in Kubinka Air Base. Like the "Russian Knights", the pilots and ground crew on the team are variable and don't have to practice extensively like other aerobatic teams to change their members for a period. The team's pilots permanent duty is also fighter training.
MiG-29:
The Mikoyan MiG-29 (NATO reporting name: Fulcrum) is a twin-engine jet fighter aircraft designed in the Soviet Union. Developed by the Mikoyan design bureau as an air superiority fighter during the 1970s.
