This is a new 2019 RC Landyacht design based on the MIA Trike-A Sail™ series using 3D Printed parts designed around re-purposed steel tubes. This model has a 36" base and a large sail which pushes the model effortlessly in "consistent" winds such as those found in open parking lots or near a beach shore. My intention with every design I make is to make into a Kit for sale, and this one is no different, except I only made a few extra sets of parts and currently only have two sets extra, available, depending on demand I may elect to make more. The kits is $100 (mylar sail, all tubes, all hardware, 3D printed wheels and frame blocks, servo plate, wheels have tubular tires and come with ball bearings. This model is a great size for any wide open area. In this video I am testing it in my backyard where area is limited and I have cinder block walls all around so air is not consistent, but is enough to give me an idea of how the model will perform in open areas. All you need is your own 2 Channel TX/RX , a couple standard size servos and a small battery capable of supplying 4-5VDC for the Receivers and Servos. I am simply using an HV li-pol single cell battery and plugged directly to the receiver, but you can use the standard 4 AA size batteries to supply voltage.
