Me and the boy made it over to Louth for their first of many Saturday club nights. 20 racers turned up which surprised everyone, but hopefully is a sign of things to come and I wish the Louth club every success. I'm sure us pair will be along again shortly.

I left the car as it was coming from Newark. Ideally I should have swapped my chassis to Carbon, but left the Alloy one on to save changing it.

Q1 I tried the 7400mah battery and the car was really good, but decided to try the 6100mah battery for Q2 which did feel more lively in the corners. It was a little noticeable towards the end of the run that the car wasn't as lively, but I broke into the 9 second laps so going better.

For Q3 I changed the 1.4mm front roll bar to a 1.3mm in the hope of getting more front end through the tight chicane in front of the rostrum, but I think it actually gave me less front end. I left it at it was for the final and it certainly felt like it was lacking. Something to remember going forward.

The final was trouble free and event free. The only point to note was a small tap with another racer inverted the front corner of my body shell and the car did feel slightly different, but I chose to carry on instead of pulling in to have it popped back out. It actually pops out as I kiss the track marker after the race has finished!
