This is my Losi 5T 2.0 that I converted to electric a few years ago. If anyone is on the fence about an electric conversion I would 100% reccomend it.

The secret sauce to get the conversion right is gearing. I kept the factory 58t spur gear and paired it with a 16t pinion (the pitch is 1.5 mod). The motor and esc do not get hot and the torque is amazing.

Everything else is “run of the mill” the motor mount is off of eBay and I paired that with an early sensorless castle 2028 and a Hobbywing Max5 esc.

From a battery perspective I run (4) 4s lipo in a combination of parallel & series (8s). I wanted good run time and I get about 15 minutes if I’m running it all out. Longer if I’m taking it easy.

I’ve had 50+ runs on this setup and have not broken anything yet. Very impressive setup and always super fun to run - one of the few RC’s I don’t get tired of.
