The L-1011 1/20th scale RC Model Airliner finally has the tail section attached, completing the fuselage.
Challenging parts of this build were the horizontal stabilizer which on the l1011 is a stabilator and the design and construction of the carbon fiber S-duct for engine number two.
This entire build has been designed using Fusion 360. the wooden parts are 3 mm Baltic birch plywood cut out using a laser CNC cutter.
The servos that articulate the rudder and stabilizer are from @FrSky RC
The 3D printed parts were printed using the @Raise3D Technologies Pro2 printer. all of the parts are printed out of nylon and composite nylon carbon fiber for strength and durability.
