Had some problems with excessive wheelhex-play. Thanks to @Buggy Brent for pointers. I used 0.2 and 0.3 shims on each shaft (part.no 96644) to resolve this issue.
The tires are also balanced. I had to use quite a bit of clay to get them in order. I used a HUDY balancing-axle for this.
