So here is the Tamiya Rough Rider, probably the most important RC Car in history, or at least in Tamiya's History!

First Tamiya RC Car to have Oil Shocks
First Tamiya Buggy!
First of the Tamiya SRB (Special Racing Buggy) Chassis'
First Tamiya with an FRP Chassis
First Waterproof Tamiya!

All of the above in 1979, that's over 40yrs ago!

This Rough Rider (Later called the Buggy Champ) is not only one of the nicest looking Vintage Tamiya RC Cars, it's also one of the most iconic and important TC cars in RC history, paving the way for some of the buggies we see today!
