This is my entry into Jairus of All's RC Car Challenge #WorldsGreatesRCCarChallenge2018

I clad an RC car in Iron! (Ok, thin steel but close enough!)

I used a simple RC car my son had for this project. We started by first removing the shell from the RC car. We then removed the back wheelie wheel rotated it and replaced it so that the new shell would clear it. Once that was done, we created a template using some crap cardboard. Using the newly created template, we marked some crap sheet metal left over from a satellite dish. We then cut it out using a grinder. Once the pieces were cut out, we used a welder and carefully welded all the pieces together. We then painted everything with a flat black paint. While the paint was still dry, we weathered the outside metal. Finally we attached the outer shell to the RC car using some fast drying two part epoxy.
