The H-Wing VTOL is an innovative aerial video solution that combines VTOL convenience with long range and flight duration. In this ready to fly package the carry case contains everything you need to get the H-Wing into the air in minutes. Rapid assembly and ease of use makes this a great solution for both new and expert RC pilots who do not have access to a runway and need long flight times. Two different apps are supported and allow beginners to take off, fly and land the H-Wing with very little familiarisation. The app for Experts allows creation of a journey defined in terms of waypoints with each having its own altitude and speeds between successive waypoints.

From 1st January 2021 the law regarding the operation of unmanned aircraft in the UK changed and made the legal use of drones over 250g more restrictive. An operator of any drone/radio controlled aircraft in the UK should be aware of the new legislation. Excellent guidance in plain, non-technical English, can be found here on the British Model Flying Association's website.

All drone operators MUST be registered with the CAA as an Operator unless,
1. the aircraft weighs 250g or less and is not fitted with a camera; or
2. the aircraft is a control line or round-the-pole (tethered) aircraft that weighs 1Kg or less; or
3. the aircraft is a 'toy' as defined in the EU Regulations (i.e. a product intended to be played with by children under 14, excluding any product with a combustion engine).

There is no requirement to register as an Operator if you only operate model aircraft indoors.

The BMFA has retained the facility for members to obtain their CAA Operator registration via the BMFA GoMembership system.

The Operator I.D. number must be clearly displayed on the aircraft or within a compartment that can be easily accessed without the use of a tool.
