In this video, we deep dive this budget buggy from HPI, to see if you can really have your cake and eat it. The HPI Maverick Phantom XB looks the part but is it as good under the skin? In this video, we dive in and have a good look by getting our hands dirty. We remove a diff, take a look at the drive chain before taking it out for a few NIMH, 2S and 3S speed runs, as well as a good test drive.
