I have gotten many planes stuck in trees because of where I fly as well as how I fly. I do not hesitate to fly around trees, and often use them as big pylons and obstacles to fly over and between. It makes for fun, but sometimes risky flying, however, I have a tried and true technique to get a plane out of a tree with ease. This technique is used by tree trimmers to pull bigger ropes up into trees and then pull themselves up to trim very big trees. The slingshot I am using is very easy to aim and use and it is amazingly easy to put the line over a specific limb holding your plane as well as hitting the plane itself. I demonstrated to a friend once how to remove a plane, and the plane in question had it's ESC wires wrapped around a branch so the only way to get the plane out was to put the rope over that limb alone and break the limb so the plane would fall. The plane came down after about a half-hour's effort and when I finally got the branch in question (which was in a tight cluster of branches) it had the plane still tightly wrapped with its wires around it. What's great about this technique is that it will work in any area on any size tree, although what I demonstrated in this video is a very easy removal since there were no other tree branches blocking and there was nothing but grass underneath the tree. In the woods, the challenge is to shoot up through the many branches obstructing and then the line has to be put back in the bucket or bin each time because the line will catch on all the branches, bushes and leaves under the trees in the woods and will not launch properly (the ball will be stopped in its flight when the line catches on something it is draped over).
