Took my test setup out to the local school yesterday and put it through its paces, and I'm super pleased. I ran into a guy out at the field and had a chance to show him some about FPV. It's always an awesome time sharing the hobby and making new friends! Hopefully we can get him started!

I've been flying this prototype frame for a few weeks, now with the ImmersionRC Ghost system, and slowly been dialing the settings to get it where I want it. I've been messing with a few settings on this. Primarily thanks to the better signal stepping intervals I have been pushing the tune a light tighter than I did with the FrSky radio link. And still buttery smooth! Really happy with how it's coming out. I was able to run up P, I and D gains all significantly higher than I have in the past with no bad effects. I lowered the RC smoothing auto threshold significantly as well and lowered my filter sliders a tad on both gyro and dterm to compensate for the tighter tune a bit without needing to worry about things heating up when props aren't in perfect shape. It appears to be working well even after some abuse, though props were pretty clean in this video. The higher gains have really made a difference in propwash handling and precision of control, even with the slightly lower filters. Overall I'm extremely pleased with how dialed in this is. I've migrated these settings to a couple other quads as well with some minor variations and it seems to adapt well. I even ran one of my freestyle rigs on a race track today, and it held up great!

My batteries were giving up the ghost (hah) as well, so I finally broke down and bought some new ones. Picked up some Ovonics for cheap on Amazon. This video is my first few packs on the new batteries with the new tune. I can't say I've ever flown a better handling setup! Hope you enjoy it!
