Joseph Senechal, 26, was in Ann Arbor, Michigan when he spotted a helicopter flying above him.

As Joseph watched the helicopter fly by, the blades seemed to stand still as he viewed it through his iPhone.

However, the sight is a common camera trick and is known as the wagon-wheel effect.
