Broadview Heights, Ohio -- Police received many calls about a woman who was lumped over in her car. Police arrived and found the woman to be under the influence and asked her to perform SFSTs.
Police conducted the tests and then used a portable breath test (PBT) and that had a result of .196% BAC. Police then had probable cause to arrest her for OVI.
While conducting a search of the vehicle they located an open container of alcohol and cocaine paraphernalia. She was taken to the North Royalton Jail where she blew two breath samples of .236% and .237%.
The woman, later identified as Cherie Gang, was charged with the following:
- Operating a Motor Vehicle Intoxicated (OMVI)
- OVI
- Turn Signals
- Drug Paraphernalia
She is scheduled to appear in court on January 20th of 2022.
