Join us as we attend the WarBirds and Classic's over the Midwest Model Airplane event, where giant-scale RC aircraft take to the skies. You'll witness breathtaking models with incredible wingspans—one even stretching an impressive 19 feet 2 inches! The high-speed jets soaring overhead gave us serious Top Gun vibes. Welcome to the the world of AMA - Academy of Model Aeronatics.

The flight demonstrations, featuring giant-scale bombers and large-scale warbirds, were nothing short of spectacular. Many of these models are scratch-built masterpieces, piloted by some of the best RC pilots in the Midwest. This video captures the action with a flight line compilation and interviews with organizers and pilots, giving you an up-close look at these massive warbirds at the Warbirds and Classics Over the Midwest 2024 event.
