My completed version of a fully remote controlled Lego Technic Dom's Dodge Charger 42111 complete with fast RC Race Buggy motor, head and tail lights, interior lights, working steering wheel and some cosmetic changes!
I wanted to make this model fast and decided to put a RC Race Buggy motor in it and it became indeed fast! I also had to put head and tail lights in and especially the tail lights look really good!!
This was the easiest conversion of a model to a RC-version by far but I still liked it a lot and hope that you like my work as well! There is still room left and I like to put a motor-driven gearbox in this model as well.
See Rebrickable for an updated building manual and Stud.io file (should be on there in a couple of days!). For now: https://tinyurl.com/y969l928
If you like it please let me know by giving it a thumbs up!
Control is done by a Buwizz Fast Brick. Further a RC Race Buggy motor, a servo motor and five pairs of LED lights are used. There is a small error in the video in which the LED-lights are labeled with part nr. 88005. This should be part nr. 8870.
Software used:
Stud.io 2.0 for Lego modelling (https://www.bricklink.com/v3/studio/d...)
Shotcut for video editing (https://shotcut.org/)
