Penny the Pilot tries to squeeze in one last flight when she should have fuelled-up (new battery) the JN-4 Bipe. Forced into a dead-stick while out over the lake (pond), the "Jenny" touches down short of the strip. But, as the saying goes, any landing you can walk away from is a good one, and we are soon flying again...until the bumpy runway nearly separates engine and fuselage.
