The 2013 E 63 AMG was produced from 2013 to 2017 alongside its coupé counterpart, the CLS 63 AMG. It was introduced as part of a facelift for the W212 model generation of the E Class and brought along an all-wheel drive option for the first time. It was replaced in 2017 by the W213 model generation.
The E 63 AMG featured in the Forza series is equipped with the optionable 4Matic all-wheel drive system and a 7-speed transmission. Compared to the 6.2 liter V8 powertrain from the 2010 model, the 5.5 liter (5,461 cc) V8 engine from the 2013 model is fitted with twin turbochargers and direct injection to increase power and fuel economy. The M157 engine powertrain produces 577 hp (430 kW) and offers significantly more torque than its predecessor by going from 464 ft·lb (630 N·m) to 590 ft·lb (800 N·m).[
The E63 AMG compares to other sports saloons with a great emphasis on speed as evident by its top speed of 206 mph (332 km/h), which is raised to 211 mph (340 km/h) in Forza Horizon 2 and Forza Horizon 3. Its AWD system allows it to launch very quickly and reach impressive acceleration times that include 3.4 seconds for 0 to 60 mph (97 km/h) and 8 seconds for 0 to 100 mph (161 km/h). The E63 AMG's high weight does affect cornering in the form of understeer, although it is quickly compensated by the car's strong acceleration.
