"Flying 3D Badly" - SBACH 3D One Year Review

So that we're ALL on the same page. I feel it's important to stress that the SBACH model was bought out of my OWN money, for my own abuses and was NOT a "Freebie for Review"

And in this instance, I've owned it for over a year now before making this video on it!

Sbach 342 800mm Wingspan EPP 3D RC Training Airplane KIT

Let's start by saying this is a fantastic 2nd 3D trainer model.

I say 2nd, because a Hummer 3D (see here http://bit.ly/2jmAwgi) is a far better choice for your first 3D model because it's thicker foam and more robust.

The SBACH however, I have owned it for a year now and frankly I like it. It's super light and extremely nimble.

You will however need to reinforce the fuse with both carbon rods http://bit.ly/2JznLv0 and strips http://bit.ly/2JveIu0 AND you'll need a tube of E6000 glue here http://bit.ly/2q802cq to cover the nose area, leading edges and hinges to make them "tough".

I have no idea which motor I am using on this one I'm afraid. Like I mentioned I've had this model for a year now and all I know is that it works very well with the 8045 slow fly props, sorry!

UPDATE: The motor I am using is this one https://hobbyking.com/en_us/2205c-1400kv-brushless-motor.html however it's been discontinued :( Somethign like this one http://bit.ly/2I2wrvJ would be a good alternative.
