After my recent transition back from electric to nitro RC Car Racing I have been struggling to find a decent setup to allow me to showcase just how capable my Mugen MBX8R should be against a very fast lineup at Northern Ireland’s premier, all dirt race venue RCNI.
I found the car extremely difficult to place where I wanted on the track and had to refer to JQ,s new book “Invisible Speed 2”
After reading and digesting the wealth of information available, I decided that the best plan of action was to reduce the thickness of all the oils in each of the 3 Differentials, increase the toe in on the rear wheels and under drive the rear differential using new ring and pinion gears.
