In this video I will review the JLB Cheetah radio controlled car. It's a 1:10 scale buggy racing car with a 4 wheel drive system. You can find it here: http://www.gearbest.com/rc-cars/pp_328270.html
Features:
-Waterproof electronics (not true)
-4 wheel drive (4wd)
-75km/h (45mph) top speed
-1/10 scale
-Solid construction (metal frame)
-3.84kg
-62mm height clearance
-1:8 scale hydraulic shock absorbers
-Metal gears
-500 x 390 x 205mm size
-RTR (ready-to-run)
-100m control distance
-5 hour charging time
-20 minutes driving time
Spcifications:
-11.1V 4000mAh 30C waterproof lithium polymer battery
-3670 2500KV brushless waterproof motor
-40g Waterproof, 15kg / cm, 0.15 sec / 60 Degree servo
-Waterproof Brushless Non-inductive, Continuous Current 80A ESC
-2.4GHz 2 Channel Gun Transmitter
-2S - 3S AC 1A balance charger
It's so much fun driving around this huge RC car! Not only is it super fast, it's also very durable! I've crashed too many times to count and the only broken piece is a small plastic arm. However, this was a easy fix. The only problem I've had is that the ESC stops working. This is because the electric speed controller (ESC), is not waterproofed enough. The electronic components were soaked, but didn't short circuit, so I was able to dry it up and use it again. If you're planning on driving in snow or rain I highly recommend waterproofing the ESC using epoxy.
Another drawback is the long charging time, I solved this by using a programmable hobby charger. You can find it here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/EU-Plug-iMAX-B6-AC-B6-AC-Lipo-NiMH-3S-RC-Battery-Balance-Digital-Charger-/251755022214?hash=item3a9dc4c786:g:Ma4AAOSwnDxUiq9y
Apart from some minor problems this car is absolutely amazing for the price! Most cars with the same top speed, durability and size costs around 400$, while the JLB Cheetah is only 265$.
