Durafly Bonanza 950mm (37.4") (V-tail) PNF: ESSENTIAL RC FLIGHT TEST
AVAILABLE HERE: https://bit.ly/2zuwECU
Nothing like a simple little RC plane to keep in the car for those rare lunchtimes when you can walk out of the office for a quick fly in a small empty area...and that's exactly what I did! I nipped out of the office and flew in a quiet area at the back of our business park.
The Bonanza takes minutes to assemble. I used UHU POR as required to glue the V-tail together and the plastic mounting components onto the wing. When gluing the plastic skid under the wing you will need to use masking tape to hold it down onto the underside of the wing while the glue cures. Otherwise just connect up the servo leads to your receiver and drop in your flight battery for some lunchtime fun.
I used a 3S2200 pack to get the CG at the required 70mm from the leading edge of the wing measured from where the wing meets the fuselage. With this pack you could probably get 15 minutes of enjoyable flying as the recommended pack is a 3S1300!
Filmed by Jordan using the Panasonic AG-UX180 Pro 4K camcorder. Durafly Bonanza flown by Dom Mitchell and hand launched by Steve.
