In this video I do an open box review of a "vintage" House of De Havilland DHC-1 Chipmunk RC Plane kit. This is new old stock, as they say, since this kit is no longer produced but can be found on auction sites. This is a great little radio control plane. Even though it is a stand off scale, it looks great and is an impressive model once built. This kit is one of two kits I purchased together, the other being the House of Beechcraft Bonanza which I also reviewed. Also shown is the great little balsa and tissue free flight model of the Guillow’s DHC-1 Chipmunk to illustrate the difference between the DHC-1a and the DHC-1b variants of the Chipmunk.

I have been building, flying, crashing, modifying, and repairing radio control planes (RC Planes) for many years and enjoy sharing what I do with the radio control plane community, so I started RC Plane Tech channel for fun. I am not an expert, there are many different techniques to building radio control planes.
