As seen in my previous video, the tail shaft and gears broke easily when the tail rotor hit the grass on landing when the battery unexpectedly died. It was a weak link for the Honeybee Kings and the Honeybee Cools. Later Esky made the Belt CP to cover that problem. It is impossible to buy an assembled tail boom. The tail boom, gear, and shaft assembly is actually all one piece from the factory. The gears and bearings are glued on to the shaft after the shaft is put inside the boom, since they are bigger than the boom. I however studied the broken carbon fiber drive shaft and came up with a fix as shown. But for fun, I decided to add my favorite tail assembly to it and it is now called the HYPER KING NOTAR. This is the first heli I have converted to a Hyper NOTAR version with an autorotation clutch, so I will be anxious to see how it flies and lands this way. Thanks so kindly for watching. Please subscribe, click the bell, stay healthy, and Happy Memorial day! (It's also our 46th Wedding anniversary)
