BMW M4 Competition, M440i, and M340i & Autocross

Featuring here is the new BMW M4 Competition in Sao Paolo Yellow. We look very briefly at the exterior of the Individual colored M440i in Dravit Gray. Finally I test out the new M235xi (not seen) and the surprisingly quick BMW M340i which I subjected to the autocross performance track. BMW offers a wider range of exterior colors for '21.
These include Alpine White, Black Sapphire, Dravit Grey,
Portimao Blue, Toronto Red and Tanzanite Blue.
The S58 engine will provide 375 kW / 510 PS (503 hp) +30 over base
The M4 Competition, uses a 48-volt electrical system, making it a MHEV (Mild Hybrid Electric Vehicle)

The M Race Track Package can be ordered, which consists of the M Carbon ceramic brakes,
the weight-optimized light-alloy wheels with semi slick tires and the M Carbon seats. BMW re-engineered the chassis, dampers and suspension of the G82 M4. They also increased level of torsional rigidity by improving body and engine mounts
The front-axle subframe uses an aluminum shear panel, the rear-axle subframe with
rigid connection to the body and the solid underfloor bracing elements.
The M4C has the CS rear spoiler and a new rear diffuser. CFRP roof offered standard, can opt out for the classic metal roof at no extra charge.
BMW plans optional X Drive with specific drivetrain
configurations: 4WD, 4WD SPORT with rear-biased behavior and the
2WD rear-only power, which disengages the stability control
A manual 6 speed will be an option. 8 speed steptronic standard.

The M440i and M340i both utilize a B58 3.0 liter turbocharged I6 and have a 382 horsepower (374 hp for Europe) and 369 lb-ft of torque.

The 2021 BMW M440i is 2.2 inches longer, 1.0 inch wider, 2.2 inches lower
than the 3 series and with a 1.0 inch wider rear track while sharing the same wheelbase.
The M340i boasts a Intercooled Turbo Gas/Electric I-6 3.0 L/183 engine powering this Automatic transmission. Wheels: 18" x 7.5" M Double-Spoke (Style 790M). It is very fast!
